Mousie212 - I suck at keeping secrets too. I've talked to my 9 year old about it in sorta hypothetical terms and have just had to reassure her that she'll still have her own space etc and we'd find a way to keep her sibling out of her room. She told me this morning that she didn't want a brother or sister with red hair. I think she likes being the special one Dunno if she can do much about that though as my new partner has red in his family too so the likelihood is pretty high!

Hi everyone, this is my first pregnancy and would love to join the private forums etc. EDD is 23rd Jan (according to dating scan). Morning sickness is a real struggle at the moment, always queasy and finding it very difficult to get up and go to work each day. Had a crazy week last week as I had some slight spotting and because my blood type is Rh negative I had to run around getting the Anti D jab. The little bean is doing well though and I am certainly looking forward to the second trimester and hoping for some relief from the nausea and dry wretching.

Hi there, I am pregnant with my 2nd, due on the 21st of Jan. Our son is 20months old. We have been on a bit of a journey to conceive no. 2 - I had an early miscarriage in Nov last year and have PSOS - after more months of frustration we went through first stage of ART and we have been very lucky to conceive on the first round of chlomid. Had our first scan on Monday am just over 8 weeks, the countdown to 12 weeks is just excruciating - any one else feeling the same??? I have morning sickness - a lot worse then I did with my son, its hard but also it's reassuring that everything is ok. Is there a private group ? I would love to join if so, xx Julie

Hey there nikkitheknitter, yes have told the kids, my son who will be 9 when bubs comes was great and my daughter 16 cried and went to her room but she is good now just was a bit of a shock for her. She has other siblings through her dad and I think she associates each new child that comes along as less time for her, also her dad lives up north and she doesn't see him alot. Hi Ladies,

I'm also an old school Oh Babyer, made some great friends in my Due In forum - back then the forums were crazy busy and FB groups and private forums didn't exist
I'm pregnant with number 3, due around 6th Jan, waaayyy sicker than with my first pregnancy (twins) which has surprised me.

Hi all! Completely new to the site and forum.

Expecting (with much excitement and many nerves) my first baby on 13/01/2015. Plenty of nausea at the moment, worst at night, break-outs, and described by my boss as having 'a grumpy week last week' so I guess the hormones are out in force ha!

I'd love to join you! Just found out we are expecting #2 in late January (somewhere between the 20th and 23rd). Totally unexpected, but defiantly not un welcomed. DH and it were planning to start TTC in a few months time but I guess now is as good as time as any :-)
We already have a 25 month old DD who is full of energy and so funny.
I love these due date threads. I have met some amazing woman and children from my 'Due May' thread. We have all become really close over the past couple of years.

Other than the one surprise vomiting incident my nausea isn't that bad. There all the time, but not really keeping me from eating. Maybe I'm forgetting what it's like though. I do remember that it gets worse around 8-10 weeks. I think I thought it wasn't as bad early on with #2, but then it wasn't really.

I love Roobios. I don't do caffeine except in 2-4 hours of sleep have to be alert for work emergencies, so it's one of my normal teas. Oh my goodness, my face has totally broken out everywhere! I've been pretty lucky my whole life not having had to deal with lots of acne. I'm even getting it on my cheeks where I have never had acne before ever! Nausea all day but it's quite light. No vomiting.....yet. Have been enjoying Rooibos (redbush) tea. It's amazing! Caffeine free, full of calcium and magnesium. Helps to settle my stomach and warm me up when it's cold. At first the taste was a bit meh, but I'm enjoying it now. So those with some nausea, give it a try. Hope the private forum gets up and running soon! Eurgh, nausea has set in. How is it fair that my DH gets to drink a nice bottle of wine and I get the hangover? I see it as a good sign though that things are still progressing.
