Hiya,

Not sure if you have had any success yet?

I was on depo for 12+ years, i missed 1 shot 1 time (so went 6 months before next shot) and got no period.

I decided to come off depo September 2015 due to getting married and wanting to start a family... i was off depo for about 2-3 weeks and got my period back.
got my period for about 7 days at a time every 2 weeks. Over next few months the periods started to get further apart until they became regular 5 day period every 28-10 days.
I fell pregnant April 2016 7 months after coming off injection.
after getting really worried about what google was saying i was preparing myself for it to take 1-2 years before conceiving, im now 13 weeks pregnant.
my GF is desperate for a baby and came of depo 10 weeks ago, no period yet. Everyone is so different and happens at different times for us all. i would recommend seeing your doctor after a year of trying to see what else can be done to help you

Hi there!

I've been on the depo for nearly 10 years and have recently come off it to begin preparing my body for conceiving a baby. However, I've been off the depo for months now and have yet to have anything even remotely likened to a period. No spotting. No cramps. Nothing. My Dr told me that my body should be back to normal within 9 weeks but that has most certainly not happened. All he can tell me now is "give it time"

I hopped on the internet to do a wee bit of research and a lot of the information I've found has me really worried.

Are there any ladies on here who have experience with concieving after being on the depo injection? How long did it take for your body to regulate? Did you have any side effects of coming off the injection? Did you do anything special to try to get your body back into baby-carrying mode?
