We’re about to introduce our second baby to food, and I’m wondering what you all gave to your children as their first foods? We started our first on rice cereal mixed with breast milk, but our pediatrician now recommends not using rice cereal. We quickly switched to vegetables (peas first I believe) for our first, as she didn’t care much for the rice cereal. I remember hearing that you sho uld do veggies before fruit or else the baby will not like vegetables after having the sweeter fruit, but I am guessing that is probably a myth.
