Mmmm, isn't it nice when even their little bums smell good? LOL

We're also using their dishwashing liquid at present, and loving it, although I am trying to learn not to use as much as the regular stuff because it's pretty concentrated. I always dump heaps in the sink and then there are oodles of bubbles! What a mess!

Have just stashed away another nappy balm too! Havent tried the baby shampoo yet, but we use the night time bath, baby body wash and mosituriser. Ooh... I also bought some more of their laundry powder, and am going to try out their dishwasher powder too, as WELL as their baby bath stuff.

Hey jax, they have heaps of it at Foodtown Auckland City (the one right downtown, near the wharfs). I know it's a hike from this area, but it was on sale for $8 a pottle, so I bought two -- bringing my total of squirrelled-away nappy balm to 8 pottles! Jax, look for the nappy balm box that doesn't have the "improved formula" dot on it -- you'll see what I mean. The new box/jar is a little bit taller too. So if you want the old one, make sure the box doesn't say "improved" on it. "Improved", my eye! Anyway, some of the stores here in Auckland still have the old stuff. I was in New World in Palmerston North two weeks ago, and they stocked the old stuff along with the new stuff, so if you look around a bit, you might be able to find the old stuff!

I LOVE Ecostore products! DH and I have been converts of theirs since we used to live in Parnell and shop at New World Victoria Park -- the Ecostore was right next door, so DH would go in there while I was starting the weekly shop, and meet up with me after he'd bought what we needed from there. I was rapt to find their baby range was just as awesome as their regular stuff. We use their laundry powder and dishwashing liquid, and for Emma Rose, we use the baby wash, lotion, soap, and nappy balm. My ONLY complaint is that they recently changed the formula of their nappy balm -- it used to be a yellow/brown colour and had lavender and chamomile in it, and now it's white (more like Bepanthen in texture) and they've taken the chamomile out. I talked to the Ecostore rep at the Auckland Parent & Child show, and they said chamomile can sometimes irritate skin, which is why they changed the formula... So I went to my local grocery store and bought up their entire stock of the "old" stuff! I think the nappy balm is brilliant -- so healing. It's the only thing that's ever seemed to heal Em's sore red bum in no time at all. Another place that carries ecostore products in Chch is Homstead Health, one at New Brighton Mall and one at The Hub, Hornby, also if there is something they don't have they say they will order in. They also do online.

If you have trouble finding the products you are after in the shops remember that you can always order direct of thier website. Depends on where you are, I shop in Chch, and Countdown Riccarton has some baby stuff, New World Haswell has the most that I have seen. I use the Baby Wash and Shampoo on Amelia, and it's been great. Smells lovely too.

I use the laundry powder and it is great. Also use the nappy balm and body wash which both been great. Baylee has never had any problems with his skin, it always looks lovely. I only get probs when hubby uses the wipes that we got given (he is sometimes too lazy to find the cloths and put water on them - I should just chuck them!) and they give him a rash, but the balm clears it up really quickly. I want to change all out stuff over to ecostore eventually. I use the body wash and shampoo on Ashleigh and it is FANTASTIC!!!! She had very dry skin and got cradle cap from using J & J stuff and hasn't had a problem since changing to Ecostore. It leaves her skin really soft and felling quite moisturised and it smells yummy (lavender and chamomile). I have just started using the laundry powder for her clothes. I use their spray cleaner, shower cleaner, toilet cleaner, oven cleaner, hand soap, washing powder, wool wash, dish wash and probably other cleaning products that I cant think of at the moment. Most of the product are great but some things like the oven cleaner and the spray cleaner arent as effective as the normal ones but I dont mind as it is so much better for us and the environment.

I've used the washing powder, have looked at the baby bath and shampoo bt haven't been game enough to try them yet. we use the nappy balm and find it is very multi purpose! I've only just finshed our first box of ecostore laundry powder that we started 2 months ago!! We have a front loader so for a nappy wash we only need a tablespoon of powder and normal wash we use 2 tablespoons. That's how little you need.

We also use the baby products, bath foam, bath wash and shampoo and we find that they have been best on Maddie's skin, doesn't dry her out or leave her head flaky or anything like that.

I plan on slowly changing over everything we use to ecostore now...our shampoos and body washes, cleaning products etc.

Go to the ecostore website and they wil send you a smaple of their washing powder AND a coupon for $2 off. It IS expensive, however, you use so little each wash, it actually works out very economical. I've only just started using the Ecostore stuff now that we've switched to cloth, but it's great ! Using far less of it for both the nappy balm and the washing powder, which of course is easier on our budget too. And they both do just as good a job as other powders / balms I was using, which is even better.
