Also does it with bloody oranges, too, but at least you can still use them, unlike nanas...
Thats how he got the punnet of blueberries, I had them on the bench, I was snacking, and forgot them, lil bugga swiped them...

Edited by jacobsmama

Summer fruits like plums, nectarines, peaches and blueberries can be a little harder on their systems, but if you are giving them to them in small regular amounts, they will get used to them. Jake got rotten run bum from cherries and eating a whole punnet of blueberries on his own (he sneaked them), so I just gave him a wee few until I noticed things were returning to normal! plums, on the other hand, so have somethign int he skin that makes you "go" I actually read that on a fact sheet in new world a few weeks ago, so I peel them. Apples make me "go" as well...

It's soft and seepy (sorry TMI) and giving them both rashes Hannah is not complaining of a sore tummy (said no when I asked her) and neither of them is extra sleepy as if they have caught a bug.

ETA: This has been for about a week now.

The only other thing I can think of is fruit intake? How much do you give your kids, and what do you think is something of a daily "limit" before it has that kind of effect?

Edited by busymum
