But that would thin the material even more, which means it would deform even more in service. Or I would replace this part and use it in other projects. But the previous commenter is definitely a fan of his craft. I learned more in a couple of minutes than I have in two years. I have only one excuse. For me, working with metal is just a hobby that I can only do on weekends. So my skill set grows slowly.
