Ok... so I haven't had 'output' like Emma described from Hannah - which is a good reason to use liners... but otherwise I'd not bother. Just sheer laziness again. (And a good excuse to buy more naps )

But yes to the inserts. Yep, I learnt the hard way that the Johnsons ones aren't flushable

at the moment i am not using any liners - tried some but it wasnt worth the extra effort to get them to fit, as the nappies jordis is in are soo small. I just put my finger over the tap to get a high pressure squirt, and squirt the poos off. any stains left over are always bleached away in the sun, havent had any stubborn ones yet. if one day on the line isnt enough i leave them out overnight, and it does the trick.
When she is on solids i will probably start using them again though, so i can either flush or burn the poos without having to handle them. But for now, it looks like homemade hokey pokey so i doesnt offend me.

I've used both and for me, the washable liners have worked better.

i wash my liners too, its a lil yucky at the moment with charli's poo, but its not too bad. i got 10 for $9 on TM but just got 1m of microfleece to make more...$6!

You can buu buy flushable liners for about $10 per 100, that way you can flush the yukky bit?

Hehe even before I read Emma's post I was going to say that I use washable liners and it really doesn't make a difference to the work load since you are washing it all anyway. I don't know what's 'best' as such, but I use disposable liners and they work for us. Before I go spending lots of money online while I'm at home with nothing to do I thought that I should get some advice...

I've purchased Fuzzis and some PeaPods so far and is it worth spending some money on liners for them? The obvious benefit is it would probably help a bit with the life of them and staining maybe.

Then if so what is better.. the disposable ones or washable?

Also, I was told by someone that boosters for pocket nappys are best if they are of a different material to the insert. Like using hemp etc with microfleece insert.
