Whoops! Gotta watch what I say to which child!

Kiya has a major oral fixation at the moment (but that's another thread ) and we've been threatening her with throwing out whatever it is that she has put in her mouth. Josiah had a toy this morning that he kept biting and sucking which is really out of character for him. After repeatedly telling him to take it out of his mouth, in frustration I said "Josiah! If you don't keep that toy out of your mouth I'm going to throw it in the rubbish!". The next thing I knew, Josiah was coming out of the laundry looking really sad... Josiah was tantruming after being told off for getting into something he knows he's not allowed. I said to him "Josiah, stroppy boys go to bed. Stop your nonsense or Mummy will put you in your bedroom." He promptly got up, walked down the hall to his room and climbed up onto the bed (where we put him for time-outs) all by himself!
