We have the infantino ones from baby factory - I like them because they are so thin but warm, you dont need to bundle them up in lots of layers. Charlotte lived in them and still does! I like using natural fibres especialy on babies- with the Dr Sprotts system he recommends you dress them in wool or cotton when they sleep anyway so thats why we started. I use them over cotton singlets I think they are great and they are really stretchy so Jacks ones last year will fit him this year. I used them with the older two, but I'm not going to bother for Xavier. He has enough padding already! plus he's quite a hot boy and doesn't feel the cold the way the others did.

They aren't necessary, just layer up whatever else you want to use. I was going to add the allergic factor as well. I got given some wool ones for Ella and they were fantastically warm. Oooh might have a look there then. To bother or not to bother? Maya never had them, I got her some cotton-wool blend ones from Target in Australia but have never seen any like that here and don't know whether the gremlins will be warm enough in plain cotton ones or whether to get some of the wool ones.
