haleigh got a pillow at 8months when she got an ear infection, it was the only way we could get her to sleep in her cot without screaming down the house all night.

When Zaara had a cold I did sleep her on a flattish pillow. And recently we bought her a baby pillow from Baby factory. lol shirena, that's cute.
mikey has been in a single bed since he was about 11 months as he hated the bars on the cot and just would not sleep but then he went to sleep really well in the bed, strange baby.

I think it depends from kid to kid. After a year it should be okay. (I think.) I put a pillow in Ella's cot at about 18 months, but I put it under the fitted sheet so she couldn't burrow underneath it. I've been wondering about this too Ella. My girls got one at around 1yr of age, by that stage my girls had been crawling in the cot before sleeping and falling asleep on the duvet! So I figured it was just as safe lol. Andrew had one when he moved to his big bed at 18 or so months.
