I use squares which are made out of flannelette. I cut up Chux cloths, if they are really messy I chuck them and replace them all once a month or so. I get my wipes from tweedle and they are so cute and soft!!!!! but i havnt had the chance to use them yet. I have heard great things about the tweedles wipes though and i LOVE!!! her nappies!! so i have faith

Flannels... and I never separated them


Altho... I did have a few which were flannels for poos. Not for hygeine reasons unfortunately, but just because they were the best at doing the job. Thin enough to fit in creases, but a decent size so you could get everything with the one flannel.

So thin and not too small are the best types.

If you are going to make some then you can just overlock flannel and terry towelling together - that's what I did.

Anna we just use soft baby flannels for wipes and keep them separate from the bath time flannels. We've got quite a few different types, most of ours are from Cheeky Wipes plus we have homemade ones of flannel and sherpa etc. You can get Sherpa ones from Greenbeansand also us Fuzzi Agents have wipes as well which feel so gorgeous! I've just been using small cloth facecloths. I got a couple of packs of really bright ones from either new world or the warehouse, can't remember, about 4 or 5 in a packet, they are different to our "regular" facecloths. What type of material do people use for cloth wipes?? Can you just use flannels? or are they too rough for a babies bum??

I'd like to use cloth wipes, but don't want to go buy expensive ones to find there's a cheaper alternative...
