What a great thread! I like the combination of hemp & microfleece. I prefer seperate inserts so I can mix & match to whatever I need. My favourite would be a 3-layer mf with a hemp booster underneath.

Hi Baysmum,
The most versatile combination of inserts I've found is a three layered microfibre and a hemp booster or fleece doubler. This makes for excellent absorbency time wise and also isn't too bulky. I mostly buy Tweedles but am starting to buy baby harmony. Iv got both microfibre inserts (that you fold into 3) and the hemp/microfibre inserts from tweedles and have just ordered 6 hemp Fleece Doublers from baby harmony. I quite like a prefold, but only at home as they are bulky. I also cant get them to fit into my large FBs easily (too short), but ok in a petite.

I like simple, so just the normal microfibre inserts that came with my FBs are my favourite.
