Bugga, that would just be my luck... buy a carseat and it doesnt fit!! Oh well, we are looking at getting a new car very soon, so I might wait until we do. our tott fits well in our car and we don't have tether strap but it doesn't fit in my mums car as it moves heaps so mum bought one for her car that stays in there. we did check that the seat would fit before we bought it as the lady in baby city said they don't always fit in some cars.

You can get the straps and extensions from K-Mart. Thanks Ellen, and for your PM. Im going to ring phil and teds, I have put the seat in the car but it doesnt seem very secure. It moves around a bit. Don't think it should!! Hi,

I have just bought Alex a tott xt carseat, from phil and teds. I am wondering if anyone else has one?? It looks like a great seat, very comfortable etc. But it says on the website it is tether strap compatible, but there is nothing on the instructions about a tether trap, and nothing on their website to help. It does not come with the tether strap, but I would like to use one. I am quite prepared to buy one but dont know where from or how etc. There is nothing on the carseat itself which helps either. Does anyone havew any ideas, other than ringing phil and teds (which I will probably have to do)
