what a darling hubby!! mine probably would've slept through it all

flu's etc really are wrecking havoc with everyone at the moment! our house is almost back to health.

Feel like I need a wine (yes at 8.30am..)

Haven't had much sleep the last couple of nights..

All culminated at 6pm when I took Ethan's temp...

40.6 degrees!!! OMG!!!!

Quick shot of Pamol and down to the 24hr Medical Centre for us!!!

The service we got down there was pretty good, considering at these places it is usally pretty cr*p.

Anyhoo, Ethan got a shot of Brufen (Kiddy Ibuprofen) and within an hour and half, temp was sitting on a nice 36.5deg...

Came home, popped than in bed..

To be woken at 2am!! Temp 40.2!!!!!

Another shot of Pamol....Endless games of Eye Spy later (With Dad looking really bleary eyed..) Temp at 38 deg.

(Yes I slept through the lot...am getting over my own sickness so am sleeping like a log at the moment..)

So, I get up this morning..Ethan has bunk beds and the matress from the upper bed is on the floor. Dad had decided it was safer for Ethan if he "camped Out" on the floor next to him, just to monitor him. AND Dad has gone off to work this morning as well!!

Well, Ethan is in bed with the Telly in his room (No kindy..) and temp is 38 deg. Getting him to eat something so I can give him a shot of kiddy Ibuprofen to get it back to normal.... then I'll monitor all day!
