My little boy loves these. Really good texture and flavour. Handy pouch. Works out a little pricey though unless on special.

Apologies for my late review, has been a bit hectic in my household recently. Anyways, my 11 month old loved these! She didnt always finish her breakfast before I started giving her Farex on the Go, but with these she gobbles them down, I can hardly get it in to her fast enough. It is especially handy for those extra busy mornings when we need to be out the door super quick to get my son to kindy as I don't need to do any prep work. I just squeezed it into a bowl and away we go. She devoured a whole pouch in each sitting. They are very handy to pop in the nappy bag for when we are out, my daughter loved been able to 'feed' herself using the pouch as well. I liked the texture as it wasnt too runny and it seemed to fill her up. I would definetly buy these to use on a regular basis, as long as they weren't too costly, to mix it up with other breakfast items for some variety.

I found these to be great - my ten month old seemed to really enjoy them and they were so easy to give! I usually make porridge for him in the morning but this was much easier. I keep a pouch in my bag just in case he needs a snack while we are out.

My 10 month old loves these! He has severe reflux so I have always been very wary about packaged food but so far so good! He definitely prefers the apple and oatmeal over the porridge (as does Mr 2 and myself) and generally only has 1/2 - 2/3 pouch in a sitting but super convenient to put the twist top back on and put it in the fridge for the next day. He's been eating them cold but I'm sure they would be just as great warmed in cooler weather. Great texture. Will definitely take these when we go away next month.

Thanks for the opportunity to review the Farex 'On the Go' cereals, they were a timely arrival as my 9 month old baby girl seemed to be getting sick of usual breakfast. With a family of 3 children getting everyone out the door, on time, in the morning is a military exercise. Theses cereals have definitely speed up the breakfast time, no mixing cereals to the right consistency and acrobatics to get food in quickly. The pouch is so easy to use, squeeze and go, the consistency is perfect and the little mashed lumps just right. Apple Oatmeal is preferred over the Banana Porridge, but she's not a big Banana fan anyway. From the first serving of these cereals she was receptive and wanting more. I find half a pouch in a serving is just perfect(at the moment). The Banana Porridge tends to go a bit gluggy after being in the fridge but that's probably just the nature of the banana anyway which highlights the 'real' ingredient content. By adding other seasonal fruits(when time allows) we have a varied breakfast menu. Having tasted them myself, they are quite yummy. I would defiantly by the Apple Oatmeal.

My 8 month old son is a very picky eater, he never finishes a jar or a pouch of anything... Until now! He devoured these breakfasts and eats the whole pouch in about 2 seconds flat. I like the thick consistency as I find many of the pouches very runny and I also love that there is no added sugar. The convenience of being able to squeeze it straight on the spoon is great and there is very little mess. Apple and oatmeal is much tastier than creamy porridge but my son absolutely loved them both warm or cold so no complaints from me. Bottom line; I will definitely buy these when I see them in store.

So...... He loves it!! Has been so easy and convenient! Has definately enjoyed the apple and oatmeal better than the porridge. Has been great to chuck a pack in the bag for when we are out and about. miss 2 has enjoyed the odd spoonfull too. We've just eaten it cold.

Finally after a hick up with the couriers I received my farex baby cereal for my son (10months) to try. As soon as the spoon full of oatmeal with apple farex hit his mouth he just kept on eating. He loved it. Consistency is nice and thick and doesn't squirt out and make a mess. Whats also a bonus is that his breakfast is in a pouch and ready to go. As a working mum i find this very handy especially when I'm having to drop him off to his nana's. I can just grab a pouch of farex and spoon and that is all i need. Very handy and convenient. I would totally buy these. A+ from my son and me.

My daughter (12m) loves these, particularly the apple and oatmeal one (which on tasting myself, I can see why) and scoffed it back pretty quickly! My eldest (almost 3) also liked the taste. Really convenient in the pouches to have as a meal on the go, easy to squeeze out on to a spoon (some other pouches I’ve tried haven’t been as good) - something I would have stored away in my nappy bag in case we got caught short, but also would use at home for meals. Dependent on the cost, I would happily purchase these myself for meals out and about. A wider variety of flavours would be great (not sure if there is one?) - plain would be good for a starter solid, a bit boring for older babies. Great product all round really :)

I tried the baby farex for about a week. However my son (1yr) would not eat it, I offered it to him at different times of the days, breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and even dinner, but was unsuccessful. My son will often eat baby food in a pouch (As it is very good when we are out an about). I was able to get 1-2 spoons in to him each day and he did seem to like it, but as he is a baby led weaning baby, he was not really interested in me feeding him he wanted to feed himself, but as he was unable to suck the food from the farex pouch he lost interest very fast and at times become very frustrated. Im not sure why he can’t suck the food from from the farex pouches as he has no problem with other brands, but I think this may be because the farex pouches seem to be thicker. So unfortunately the farex pouches are not suited for us but was nice to try them. However when my son was 5-6months old (pre BLW) he did eat farex (not pouches as they were not out then) and enjoyed it.

Would be great for those busy mornings, when you need to get out the door. Just twist the top off, and away you go! My almost 2 year old tried them, and said he thought they were very tasty! (he prefers the Apple and Oatmeal flavour) I thought they tasted good too. Would be interested to buy, as long as they aren't too expensive! Thanks so much for the opportunity to try them out!

baby loved this product when he was uninterested in other foods. The consistency was great, the flavour and smell was lovely and we love the pouches, they are so easy for busy mornings on the go and they are not messy. He can't get his hands all through the food, which is a big plus.
