My eight month old son has tried many of these and loves them. In particular he likes the Creamy Oats with Fig & Sultanas 6 months+ and the Chicken & Kumara Mash with Peas 6 months+. This was one of the first meat varieties I tried him on when he was just over six months. I didn't want to make my own as I was not sure exactly what the texture should be like. When I opened it at first I was a little worried about the peas because they were whole and I was expecting them to be a bit more mashed but he was able to eat them without a problem.

Thank you for choosing us to review the Watties Organic range. My son is 7.5 months and was a little slow to get used to solids but is now really enjoying the new tastes. He loves the Pear & Blackcurrant and also the Apple & Raspberry with Red Delicious Apples. I have fed them as a meal on their own and also to accompany weetbix and will continue to purchase. Neither seemed too sour, which I feel is the case with some other fruit based baby foods. We also tried the Creamy Oats with Fig & Sultanas which is a huge hit, I think our wee man would happily eat this daily if he could, if he could say 'more' I think he would. Awesome new flavours which are on my list to continue to purchase!

We've had some problems with my son an jarred food, he has tended to turn his nose up at it, but with the Watties Organic range, he really enjoyed them. The creamy oats with figs was very popular with him, he would be happily spoon feed a jar (when he doesn't like to be spoon food much) quickly. We also used the apple and raspberry on his weetbix in the morning which he really enjoyed as well as having it straight from the jar. I will admit he wasn't fussed about the savory jars but that's just his personal taste buds, as he isn't into foods mixed together like this usually, and can be a bit particular about what savory foods he likes on which day.

My baby is 6 and a half month old and so far tried the following: - apple and raspberry: he was a little surprised by the initial taste and it's a bit tangy, but after a couple of mouthfuls he loved it. His brother who is 22 months old also tried and couldn't get enough of it, I will probably have to buy some for both of them - chicken and kumara with peas: I was a bit concerned to give him this puree as there are whole peas in there, so I started with spoonfuls without peas. He is not a big fan of kumara normally but he ate this quite well, probably because it's runnier than what I prepare. I then added a pea to the puree, and he chewed it without any problem. He did find it hard to swallow the pea skin though. I think it's a good thing to include peas like that, it gets them used to chewing without any choking risk because a pea is so small - creamy oats with fig and sultanas: he absolutely loved it from the first mouthful, he ate the whole jar for his breakfast. So far this one is my favourite, healthy for breakfast and with unusual and delicious flavours I will write again soon with our reviews of the other flavours and any updates as he eats more of everything

We've now also had a chance to review the Lamb and Baby Vegetables and Chicken & Kumara Mash with Peas. The lamb was a hit at dinner time, although the bigger jar was an issue as my daughter is a bit of a sparrow - the little jars suit her down to the ground. She has just never been a big eater - more of a little and lots feeder. Anyways, the lamb was a hit, she loved it and each spoon was met with lip smacks and "Mmmmmmmm's". Not so much the kumara one. She flatly refused to let the spoon in after the first couple of tastes, and has not wanted any more of it no matter how many times I have tried it. Appears she just doesn't like the kumara! Or maybe it's the texture. Or colour. Who knows. Can't say it looked that appealing to me based on colour, however I didn't try it. Both fruit flavours were an instant hit (Pear and Apple varieties) and I must admit I took the cheats way out and used them as breakfast on more than a couple of occasions. :) Will be buying these products to have on hand in case of shortness of time.

Well our package arrived yesterday (photo on OHbaby! FB page) so Little Miss Abbie was treated to some different food for dinner last night. Thank you for choosing us to review this product! I'm a big fan of letting my kids explore their food with their fingers (as well as me shovelling it into their mouths at the same time!!) so while she happily fingerpainted the table I tried feeding her the creamy oats with fig. There was the initial tentative taste, the smacking of lips, then her eyes lit up and the 'mmmmmmmm' started up. Instant hit!! She mowed down the jar, (as well as finger food cooked veggie sticks) and looked around for more. And it wasn't too bad to clean off the table afterwards - not as sticky as I had thought it would be. Verdict - will be buying the creamy oats version again. Great for when you're in a bind time wise and just need to get them fed asap. Will review the other types as we attack them. :)
