Good bits: Oh so nice and easy! For the technologically challenged there's not much to it, you just pop in the batteries and you're away.

This monitor is simple to use and the instruction booklet (if you do need to read it) is clear. There's good sound clarity and when there's nothing to hear, there's literally nothing to hear!
It has two-way talk-back and boasts a 50m indoor reach and up to 300m if used outdoors.
The night light - although hardly able to light up the room - was greatly appreciated by my two year old.
Tricky bits: Nothing really - it is what it is... there's no temperature monitoring, there's no music. If you want the bells and whistles, this isn't the monitor for you. It's probably best suited to monitoring an older child who's past the SIDS danger period.
Bottom line: Simply does it. This is a reliable and basic monitor.
