I've been using cloth nappies for 10 years now and got our first set of green beginnings two years ago.. They are very trim and easy to use and wash. I use the booster with them for trips to town and they are good to go:) very cute and affordable!

I find these nappies really great. We've been using them on our 6 week old baby for about the last month having tried a few different varieties to start with. We just went straight in to the small size which fitted well right from the start. The trial packs are regularly on sale at baby factory so then work out cheaper than many other well known brands and they have certainly outperformed some of the more expensive ones we've tried.

Fantastic nappy, trim fit, never leaks, easy to clean IF you use a flushable liner.

Back in December I wrote a review on these nappies after using them a couple of times on my then 6 month old baby girl, and wasn't too sure about them as the result was the worst nappy rash I'd ever dealt with in my 3 children. As it turns out the nappy rash, I think was more the result of the first 2 teeth coming through together. 3 months on and I would like to say that in continuing to try these nappies I am now, 3rd child round, a convert to the modern cloth nappy. We now only use a disposable at night. They are so easy to use, wash well and dry fast. The Velcro tabs and the elastic pocket for the soaker mean very quick and easy nappy changes, which I need as miss does not stay still very long. I was not selected to review these nappies but I thought it only fitting to readdress by earlier review so that it may help someone else give these nappies a go. The trial nappy is on sale again at the Baby Factory, so why not give it a go ...

We trialled the Green Beginnings newborn size nappy late last year when out second son was born. While I liked the overall look of the nappy I found that the insert was not absorbent enough for him to wear the nappy for longer than 1 -2 hours, which was not ideal. The nappy was however easy fitting and easy to clean - I simply ran it through the machine on rinse, before washing it along with our other baby items. The anchored plastic pocket is a nice feature, however if you're using a variety of different MCN brands this means you can;t mix and match your inserts between different nappies. For me this was an issue as I tend to play around with different inserts until I find the right combination for my childs pee/poo habits. I would suggest this nappy is an ok option for people to try out, and perhaps they will have more success than us with the absorbency level - I suspect my little boy is a mega pee-pants!

These look like great nappies, I purchased a trial pair at the baby factory and used on my baby girl who is 6 months. Very easy to use, slim and look nice. BUT, a week later I am still battling the worst nappy rash I have seen in any of my 3 children. Baby woke from morning sleep, nappy was pretty wet and all contained thanks to the elastic gusset, but it's the worst rash I've dealt with (there was no rash when she went to sleep). I am still keen to give them a go but it will be awhile before I do, anyone else had this problem?

I was chosen to review this nappy. I have to say it is a lovely easy and trim cloth nappy to use. I have been using cloth nappies on my children for 7years now and this is a great we nappy. I love how the insert sit's inside the plastic part as it gives more protection from leakage. Nice soft colors and insert. Very good price.

I have used this nappy twice now and love it. The medium fits my boy so well and my partner likes it because its like a disposable. Very trim and haven't had any leaks during the day so far. Am going to get a few more for my stash

Overall I found this to be a good cloth nappy. I like the fact you can get tri-fold inners to make them last longer between changes. The anchored-pocket is a good idea for keeping the liner in place and the outer dry. Only suggestion I would have is that they perhaps attach the anchored-pocket in the middle so it still has movement but not too much, as I found it awkward to get number two's to the loo without them slipping under the pocket in the folded nappy. Velcro tabs are a brilliant idea as it makes it a lot easier to adjust the fit to your child, more so than the domed styles.

I have been using these nappies for 4 months now, starting with medium size, and we have just over onto large size as my baby has turned 6 months old and well outgrown the mediums even though he is only 7.5 kg. They are one of the better cloth nappies but the issues we have had are: - they cannot cope at night, especially if baby tuns onto his side, and the wee runs out - the pads change their new soft appearance very quickly. Having used the medium for 3 months, they are now very hard on the middle piece of the inner, they have pilled significantly, and the outers have discolored a lot. - if baby poos, it will always get on the outer, and so you cannot use it again. - these nappies stain very easily. I was hoping my investment in these would mean we could use them for baby 2 but it looks like we will at least have to get a new pack of inners, and possibly outers (unless the elastic miraculously holds up). These are expensive nap pies, and I'm not sure they are worth the money given the short life they seem to have which is a shame as they are one of the better cloth nappies out there.

I've tried a few different cloth nappies and this one is one of my favourites now. It fits really nice and snug around my 18 month old and is so easy to put on. I love the fact that you can just replace the pad at each nappy change instead of replacing the whole nappy, less washing is always good! But in saying that this nappy dries very quickly. They are a little more expensive than other cloth nappies out there though.

I really liked this nappy. Sung fit and I love the design. Easy to put on. No leaking. So far this has been the best cloth nappy i have used.

I found this nappy to be a very good performer. the anchored pocket works well to contain wee and also the one poo test so far. the insert although appearing quite small and maintaining a slim fit still absorbs a lot of liquid while keeping my girls skin quite dry. the brand appears to market in an eco-firendly way but there is only a smaller percentage of natural fibres. The velcro waist is great and easy for fit. I can imagine a full set and getting bigger sizes could require quite an expense.

Loving these nappies. I find the stay dry layer is exactly that - stays dry, as the microfibre underneath absorbs. The anchor pocket holds the pad in place and also catches the bulk of the soiling. Began using on 8 week old baby, no problem - not too bulky. Added the extra booster underneath to catch any overflow at night. Hasn't leaked when in for 12 hours overnight. So far the most superior nappy I have used!

Loved the insert that held the absorbent liner inside, stopped the spillages from the sides that you can sometimes get with other cloth nappies, was easy to use and nice and soft on baby's skin

I liked how this nappy fit, very secure around the legs and tummy. I liked the anchored pocket - this worked well to contain urine without any leaks. The difficulty was that the pocket moved while my 6 month old was playing and unfortunately his bowel motion leaked outside the pocket. Love the material and design but not sure if it is ideal for an active baby.

These nappies are good at containing leaks but you always need a new cover as poo or wee always gets on the cover , so the claim that often you don't is not true. Also after using these for a couple of months the inners start to pill, and loose their softness. As someone else has mentioned, baby grows out of the sizes quite quickly - eg 3-4 months, so expensive to have to buy more.

Love this nappy. Has a great fit and lasted about 3 hours without a change. Great u can change the inner and not have to always change the outer too. Only negative I found was my very squirmy 9mth old trys to roll away while changing, and while struggling to keep them in place and put nappy on, the bottom of the liner came out of its pocket and I had to put it back in. However this has not put me off and next year Im planning on using these 90% of the time with our new addition due Feb and with our will be then 1 yr old. Out lay I expect to be about $200, but will save in the long run as a months worth of nappys at the moment for 2 kids is costing us approx $90.

I have tried a lot of different cloth nappies and would rate this as one of my favourites. The special design to help stop leakages is excellent. It is a great fit and very easy to put on. Being able to reuse the outer is also great as it can reduce washing. The inner was pretty fast drying. Only negative would be it is quite an expensive nappy and you would have to buy several different sizes if you were going to use it full time. If you can afford it I would highly recommend this nappy to anyone looking to use cloth.

It is very soft and great fit. It is also very stylish with clean lines and a snug, trim fit. The sides are stretchy which is GREAT and seem to get a perfect fit and get on very easily even with a wiggly baby. I would highly recommend this diaper.
