We love this buggy and get many comments on how cool it is. We use this as our around town/ shopping/ travel buggy but also have a Mountain Buggy for walking. The Smart Buggy is light weight, easy to fold, looks good, and most importantly is adaptable. To start with we used it as a trolley/ snap and go for our Graco Capsule. We are now using the seat with baby facing us and will later switch it around so baby faces out. Its pretty well priced but we have spent extra money buying the shade cover, cushion seat (really a requirement!) and travel bag. The only negative I find is the small parcel tray underneath. But it is a compact buggy after all.

I purchased the Smart with the peanut (a bundle option)so my new born could lay flat and face me. I have used the Verso with the sit until she was able to kick me and then turned her out facing the world. I have had the Smart for almost a year and love it. The Smart is very easy to use, light weight and oh so stylish. Perfect for the last in the bunch or the only child as no double kit options.

Shop around for this one - we got ours for $250 from Smith's City - but then had to fork out an extra $50 for the rain cover and verso adapter. We had a previous P&T stroller that came with a rain cover so were a bit disappointed that this one was separate. Actually I was disappointed by a couple of things - having to buy a separate adaptor to reverse it and that the recline feature is not all that reclined - not reclined enough for our daughter to fall asleep in anyway. That may also be due to the rigid plastic seat. It is great for cleaning but doesn't look very comfortable - there is, of course, an optional seat cover that you can purchase. Everything is an optional purchase!! The pram is very smart looking, easy to push about and I found it a good height for me (I'm reasonably tall). It doesn't fold down that much - but still takes up less space in the boot than a P&T pram. I do like the movable sun cover. My daughter is much happier being in the reversed position - but you cannot collapse the pram in this position and have to remove the verso adapter. It kind of feels like a lot of hard work for something that is supposed to be quite simple.

After booking a family trip to Australia we found we needed to purchase a new buggy for our travels for our 19 month old. One that would be lightweight and portable. After researching some of the stroller brands we decided upon the Phil & Teds new Smart Buggy. And I have to say it was a fantastic investment. The buggy was super stylish, and very light and easy to transport. The Smart buggy was also simple to assemble and disassemble and throw in the boot of our rental car all with the ease of a flick of a button. It had excellent manoeuvrability and was very comfortable for our wee boy who happened to spend a substantial amount of time sitting in this as we explored the Gold Coast. We purchased a cushy ride liner from Phil & Teds for additional comfort which was great and our son loved his new buggy. I would absolutely recommend the Smart Buggy for traveling with kids and as a stylish accessory for busy mums. Available from Philandteds.com and selected baby stores. RRP $306 NZ
